IAMSLIC 50th Annual Conference - Registration is open

Registration is open for IAMSLIC 50th Annual Conference.

The conference will be held together with 7th Annual AFRIAMSLIC Regional Meeting in Alexandria, Egypt, 27-31 October, 2024, hosted by The National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries (NIOF). The conference can be attended in person and virtually.

The theme year is “Shining a Light.” One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Lighthouse of Alexandria lit the way for generations of sailors seeking an entry into the Great Harbor of Alexandria.

IAMSLIC 50th Annual Conference

IAMSLIC 50th Annual Conference will be held in Alexandria, Egypt, 27-31 October, 2024.

Libraries, information centers and IAMSLIC continue to shine a light on the world, representing the guiding role of libraries and research in navigating the vast ocean of knowledge, particularly related to ocean and fisheries studies.

EURASLIC XX : Conference Proceedings

Proceedings of 20th Biennial Conference of the European Association of Aquatic Sciences Libraries and Information Centres (EURASLIC), held 3-5 May, 2023 in Brussels, Belgium are published and available online.

Ocean Decade Conference 2024

Registration is open for 2024 Ocean Decade Conference.

The conference entitled "Delivering the science we need for the ocean we want" will be held fro April 10-12 in Barcelona, Spain.

Travel support will be available to support a certain number of selected Early Career Ocean Professional participants, as well as participants from Small Island Developing States and Least Developed Countries.

If you would like to apply for travel support, please indicate this in the request for registration form. If you are identified as potentially being eligible for travel support, you will be contacted in coming months.

 

 




Newsletter 52 (2023)

Newsletter issue 52 for 2003 has been released and it's available under Activities section - EURASLIC Newsletters.

For the first time newsletter is available as html version, along with usual pdf version.

The creator of html version is Ivana Končić from Ruđer Bošković Institute.
